Wheeler
Sanchez

Dodgers bullpen is worse lol...

Phillies have Kerkering and Strahm, two reliable good arms in the pen. Just added David Robertson, who if he has anything left would be a much needed arm. Plus I fully expect them to make a trade for more.

Plus they're getting one of the best relief pitchers in the game back next month, Alvarez. Although he won't be eligible for the playoffs 😭

Your kidding urself bro. For once just agree and admit that part of ue team is in trouble. Those 2 are not even remotely good enough or enough relievers to even be viable for a playoff run

Huh??? Strahm was literally an all-star just last season and is having a good season though not as dominant. And Kerkering is nice, he's their future (closer likely) and has filthy stuff. Kid has a 2.4 ERA in his first 2 seasons in the majors. They're both good arms. They're two of the key pieces from last season when the Phillies had one of the best bullpens in baseball (though didn’t meet their expectations as THE best going into 2024).

The problem this season is 1) they lost Alverado for much of the season cuz steroids and 2) they're still forcing Romano (6.99 ERA!!!) trying to pull the all-star version of him out and he clearly doesn't have it. Romano sucks and wont be on the playoffs roster anyway. Aside from Kerk and Strahm its a guessing game without Alverado in the mix.

Like I said though...better than the Dodgers mess of a pen LOL

Smashed the Yankees in their house tonight 🔥

Going to the game tomorrow night. Row 14 right behind the plate/visitors dugout. First time at Yankee stadium. Phillies fans taking over.

Who cares about the Dodgers? I said basically anyone.

Its absolutely crazy how you can actually just never admit or simply aggree with someone else who criticizes ur team. The bullpen is a mess and the 2 guys u have right now aren't enough. That the Phillies are in trouble if they csnt figure it out and won't be serious contenders. You very well know that it takes far more then 2 guys in a bullpen. Like it's absolutely fucking crazy, don't think anyone can ever take you seriously.

Like your rebuttal " HUH bro was an all-star l year, we have 1 pitcher whose having a solid year"

And your waiting and praying Alvarado gonna be as good as you imagine or hope he is

1) I clearly said the Phillies need more help in the bullpen, especially with Alverado suspended. Go back and read. I said I fully expect them to make a move to add, as does everyone.

2) You said Kerk and Strahm aren't good or reliable arms. That is why I defended them. You are correct, two guys isn't enough. But those two are two we can actually trust to be pretty reliable most nights and that's the argument we had. It has nothing to do with disagreeing that they need reinforcements....

Phillies and Dodgers have had 2 of the worst bullpens in baseball this season (so far) with a lot of injuries and suspensions. Yet, they have the 3rd and 6th best records in the majors.

You focus too much on the regular season. This isn't football. Who cares if ur 1st 2 d 3rd 5th 7th? All that matters is you get in and do you have a roster that can hold up in the playoffs regardless of your position?
I don't even see the point on why you're even making this post unless it's just sheer copium. Dodgers are in huge trouble as well.
