I am now 100% in favor of disbanding Israel and giving the entire occupied territory back to the Palestinians

This guy makes me sick to my stomach and in my opinion is a war criminal of the worst caliber and should be tried as one together with his war cabinet and alot of the supporting government in this awful genocide. The west has systems in place for this and they should be allowed to do their jobs.
That being said claiming israel shouldn't exist anymore is not moving the debate anywhere except into a trench. Israel exists and it's population has the same rights as their neighbours to exist to flourish and prosper.

I think the debate whether or not israels actions is a genocide or not, or is a war crime, or ethnic cleansing or not is over. It's clear it's all those things. So i think the debate should now turn into arguments about how best to get along, how to heal and how to live side by side. Just like the rest of europe successfully did after ww2.

It's an ethnic issue. They won't get along or heal.

It's going to take some soul searching for sure but it has been done before and can be done again. Just like a dance though it takes two to tango.

I guarantee you it wouldn't. You might have a sort of ceasefire. In 5 to 10 years time it will happen again.

This issue isn't even up for debate. It is what it is until one side is wiped out or driven out.

Anyways....such is life in the holy land.

It's not a religious issue. They use it because it is convenient and promote solidarity and it is extremely potent with brainwashing. As with most fundamentalist Muslim states.
That being said Muslim Brotherhood is intrinsically democratic. Hamas is also democratic. And they democratically wants to chase away the Jews which they believe and deem that have taken away their homeland.

Tomorrow morning, let’s say Bibi is gone. A far-left government takes power, dismantles every settlement in Judea and Samaria, and hands the Palestinians everything they’ve ever dreamed of.
And then what?
Iran will still seek Israel’s destruction. Hamas will still want to wipe us off the map. Hezbollah will keep stockpiling weapons for the next war.
In other words, nothing fundamental changes.
So go ahead and dislike Bibi. I’m not a fan either. But let’s not pretend he’s more than a small piece in a much bigger, far more dangerous puzzle.
