Thinking around 2k for my build. I have had Intel my whole life and love them but hear AMD is the way to go now.

No microcenter near me, and I cannot build one - do not suggest it pls as I've fucked up multiple times prior.

Any good sites for prebuilts or do I just buy parts and wait for my brother/homie

Hello , whats the use case ? gaming only ? productivy ? mixed use case ? do you have any preference for graphics card - Nvidia or AMD , do you have monitor already , what resolution ?

I was going to recommend Maingear but those jokers want $1500 for a system with a Ryzen 9600X and RTX 5050

Cyberpower and Ibuypower aren't any better

Pre-builts seem really badly priced right now
The tariffs are messing up prices

gaming only, do not care about case or visuals at all, only performance

potentially will upgrade monitor toa higher refresh rate (currently 144 hz)

I'm leaning toward 9800 X3d and a 5070 ti for the build. Probablyh 2499 is what I'm seeing

GeForce RTX™ 5080 16GB GDDR7 Video Card
360mm Liquid CPU Cooling
2TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD
32GB (16GBx2) DDR5-6000MHz MEMORY
B850 WIFI + BT Motherboard
1,000 Watts - Standard 80 Plus Gold Power Supply

with a 3 year warranty for 2586
