I wonder what that philosophical consideration would be. Please elaborate.
You would have to use your own free will and read books, scripture, and other documents pertaining to these ideas/thought processes. You admitted you hadn't done it so I don't assume someone like you will start anytime soon.
Like I said you remind me of myself 15 years ago. Get to reading you are LEAGUES behind and I will not type out on this sub forum what the ancient Hindus/Buddhist did word for word explaining these "concepts" in full detail with debates and conjecture going back and fourth for a thousand years.
Some people like certain aspects of different religions and therefore someone like myself uses multiple disciplines to be a "better" person.
You don't need any of them but if you don't take the time to read through them you will never know.
I read the Bible many times over my life time and each time I learned something new because as your knowledge/wisdom grows you are able to see/experience what others seemingly cannot.
For example I am always in the state of flow consciousness and dwell on God alone therefore my mind is pure because I never allow any other "thoughts/concepts" to "appear" in my mind to latch on too. This takes years of practice and I was initiated under a guru named Swami Ishatmananda to try and understand this even deeper.
As soon as you even attach to a THOUGHT you are no longer with God. That is why philosophers will say the "thought free state" is the only real state of consciousness everything else is a projection of the mind.
Think what I'm telling you right now I found in a book? I didn't. I trusted my guru and he taught me how to become closer to Jesus Christ in such a way that nothing rattles me. Using a Hindu philosophy and a Catholic upbringing I'm totally free of what some call the "Bondages of the flesh".
What is the goal of Buddhism? Nirvava. Elimination of all suffering(product of the mind) Infinite compassion towards existence itself in all it's forms.
All is God and the ego disolves into God. Life and Death is an illusion.
