until tech and hollywood leave its basically nothing. Ag can't and wont leave, the weather is just too good for too much of the year to even consider growing elsewhere.

People can hate on California until their blood pressure is unhealthy. Makes no difference because of the overwhelming dominance of tech right now
If that changes in the future then things will be different. Right now, it looks like the tech industry is only growing larger over time
