Hey everyone!

I've been working in the gaming industry for quite some time now and recently took a sabbatical to begin working on a pvp turn-based tactics game I've designed. Think playing chess with league of legends champions.

The project is moving along nicely and the gameplay is functional. I'm still missing a lot of components, features, animations, VFX, SFX which I expect to have some time towards the end of August.



I am looking for people who have an interest in this genre to playtest the game in its current state (be understanding that a lot of visual/auditory feedback is missing) and give me their feedback about your first time experience, how easy it was to understand the game, what your champions do, how to make your own teams, etc. Basically I want to make sure that new players have an easy enough time learning the game. It is a game meant to be very difficult to master.

I can provide a Steam key for those interested. The multiplayer queues are functional, but since the servers don't really have players in it yet, you can play against yourself using a debug function.

The game is titled Athelan Battlegrounds. Once you've activated the product, select the "beta" branch in the steam settings for the game.


You can access the debug menu in game by pressing F1 if you want to play matches vs yourself or add currencies.

Can clarification be made on what was meant by add currencies, seeing on how that has yet to be done, and the request was made.

When I have clarification, and OPs account members status has become ID Verified, I can reconsider spending more time on this either on or off site.
