Nothing. I worked today so he didn’t get out of the terrarium

Got stuff for his tank. Will finish up and update with pics tomorrow sometime.

We worked on it a little bit today. (Forgive the foginess it’s all the minerals in the water. It dissipates after a few days once the filter, carbon and slate filter most of it out.)

I wish I could do more to it. Cost about $50 a month just to maintain properly.

However I’m eying this topper which will put his basking area ABOVE the tank allowing me to fill the tank up fully but the topper is $100 itself and I’d like to glue Astro turf to it too to make it easier on his nails.

i've never kept an aquarium myself but $50 a month for that happy turtle seems worth it (#253 last picture ).
you need the extra water height for easier maintenance or to give your turtle more room?

He’s a red eared slider. They absolutely love to swim and he can clear this 45 gallon aquarium in basically one paddle.

Does he spend most of the time underwater?
