I'm in the best shape of my life at 35 and I live near Chicago and could gorge myself on every food and drug known to mankind.....but I don't.
In America you have a choice. In other countries your choices are limited. No one is forcing you to consume any of these products even with the 24/7 add brainwashing.
I don't drink alcohol. I don't smoke cigarettes. Eat sweets rarely.
The 50% who are obese are choosing to be fat and lazy plain and simple. Yes if you took away those terrible food/drink/etc. they'd be forced like ^El1te said to make healthier choices because the healthy choice would be the only one available but what kind of gestapo shit is that??
I love watching my fellow citizens eat themselves to death. Elite want the useless eaters dead as fast as possible so you better believe those 80,000 FDA approved chemicals are all eating away at our DNA.
Why do you think America is where the "mutants" are. Because we are the only country to legalize things that are guaranteed to give you cancer and morph your dna(same thing).
edit: When you see a 600lb bitch hobbling out of Mcdonalds looking like an orc from Lord of the Rings all you can do is bow your head and feel sorry they ever got themselves into such dire straights. I don't laugh at them like I did when I was younger I generally feel bad knowing they probably have family and that family is enabling their weight to get out of control.
My philosophy is that I very strongly believe that it is not moral to freely and consciously allow people do this to themselves, and that at a certain point an intervention must be made. They live in preventable agony & anguish. By force, against their will, for their own good.
I'm in a similar position as an extremely healthy 33 year old. Flawless skin, excellent stamina & strength (though the cardio can always use work, I'm not one for endurance training, though I regularly power through 3-hour workouts with minimal fatigue), excellent form. Zero physical agony. I achieved this of my own volition which took alot of sacrifice & simple grit and discipline of bearing through the very difficult initial stages of going from a largely sedentary gamer & school nerd to a high performing strength athlete. But most people simply will not do this of their own free will and need direction, which is why I support fat camps for instance, as the reward is worth the sacrifice. It's also motivated by the public good - a fat, lazy society will degenerate incredibly fast and be conquered by foreign adversaries. It's not moral to allow this to happen, to freely allow anguish and suffering on a catastrophic scale of half a billion people. We must intervene before it's too late.
The reason why Christianity is the supreme religion & way of life is because we actually care about others. More primitive belief systems remain in the stone/iron age because they are incredibly selfish and don't understand the value of strength through unity. Hindus are a weak & conquered people, as are Buddhists. They let their weak and poor suffer while they fiddle. Muslims have historically mowed these people down like grass because Muslims understand strength through unity. I mean Sikhism was literally formed because they were too weak to defend themselves with primitive belief systems and had to adapt.
I mean we already do this with hard drugs like heroin and meth and rightly so. The consequences of allowing people to procure and consume this stuff freely will destroy everyone.
