Afaik this will be the first trial of Antifa members charged with engaging in organized criminal activity, giving precedent of Antifa be treated as organized crime, same as a gang or terrorist cell

The chat logs recovered from their phones showed they had carried out reconnaissance at the ICE facility before the attack and helped finance them buying weapons.
