I've eaten a lot of carrots lately. Gonna keep doing turnips too, yet carrots are so easy to eat... i don't even peel'em. Just wash'em. They already come washed, but i like to give'em another flush. They really help with digestion, and gives you energy and vitamins.
In an episode of "Hellstrøm rydder opp" (Hellstrom clears up), where he helps Norwegian restaurants, in one of them helps the Norwegian Blue Cross in Oslo. A nutritionist specialist says that turnips is the healthiest food type ever for drug users, since it has a lot of vitamins n minerals, and it lubricates the throat and digestive system. But also onions, onions is very healthy, helps with the feeling of warmth in the blood and fingertips.
But yes. Veggies is the key. Wash, slice, cut, wash, dry, store, eat. I make dinners usually without veggies, but eat'em in between meals as hunger stoppers.
