I took this post as a motivation tool. I appreciate getting this.
If i could choose again, it could be a likely choice. That or the military. Perhaps both? They make 40 000$ a year for driving a bus. I made 30 000$ a year busting my ASS carrying Shit all day long, and getting yelled at. I know it's no picnic driving a bus either, but dang, the way they act and drive, it can't be that hard. Some drive like they've stolen the dang bus. Like a roller coaster. And the new electric buses too, i mean, i like that they are silent and no fumes. That's excellent. But. They weigh TEN TONS!!! Almost like a dang TANK. So, that means the gravity is stronger. When they jerk and slam the brakes and gas pedal, you get bumped around like a ragdoll.
Then there are 5% of them that drives Properly. They drive slow, stop slow, brake slow, they know. I've written to them many times explaining this. Do NOT JERK the pedals! About 25% drive like that. The rest are somewhere in between.
But yes. Idk. What can you do. We should learn more about economics. Had i done that, had i known what i know now, everything would be different. I was on the track you know, i told those around me, i am considering working a lot, like sleeping at the job at weekdays, i don't care, and i was also telling my boss, i can work like that, and i don't need like pay for every single hour, i can write down what i do, and i get paid for what i do. Do it properly.
He just laughed it off, "yeah, live like a tramp, huh huh"... dad too, "nah that won't work". Just meed a DANG door in your face.
Because, if you get that ambition in your head, you can hunker down for 10 years and work, and SAVE CASH. I was on the track. I had 8000$ saved up at age 21. Not a lot, but i could easily get a zero to that if i had gotten a bit of support for my thoughts, instead of getting a dang maul to my head instead.
You get it? It's not all black and white. It's not like, you either know or you don't. You need to get this information somewhere. Yes, someone DRIFT into it, by luck. Opportunity strikes early. And that's okay. But that's luck. MOST people, don't have it so easy. And this information should be taught in school.
There is a lot in the news in Norway now, about youth not working. And some idiots say, uh, we must have immigrants to work here. I say, the damn government is failing us!! We could learn about economics in school. Learn to WORK HARD for 10-15 years, early in life! BUILD UP a mass of cash, with which we THEN can use to live a bit easier for the rest of our lives. Work less, less debt, less interest, maybe ZERO debt and interest! Everything you make, you keep!! Of course, after taxes. Now THAT'S motivation! More time for children, spare time, living. There could be periods of full job, but would not have to be full time job for the rest of life with 1 million $ in the bank.
And one last thing: We could also learn in school, to make business arrangements. I.e., people making deals, to live together, keep it clean, repair the place, share everything, make food. Live like a small military camp. For 10-15 years. SAVE MONEY! But! Make a strong legal deal, sign a document. I mean, one could SHORTEN the time needed! Maybe only 5-10 years! Of Hard Work. Capitalize on the work! Make 2 million $ in 10-15 years. Work 12-16 hour days.
