Sunni Arabs HTS/ISIS/etc killed a bunch of Alawites , then moved on to the Druze. Still crazy to me how a guy that was part of Al-Qaeda and had a 5 million dollar bounty on his head is now running Syria and you had western leaders like Annalena Baerbock going there fawning over the new and reformed Syria and weeks later you have Alawite corpses and torturing's showing up all over the internet.

And honestly, I don’t know if you’ve seen the images and videos coming out of Suwayda in southern Syria - but they’re hauntingly similar to what we saw on October 7. No Israeli can look at that and remain indifferent.

Also, Syria's Druze happen to live on the foothills of the Golan. Protecting them makes for a great pretext for Israel expanding its buffer zone in front of THE prime strategic position in the region.
