Knowledge doesnt equal causation - unless its unaquired.

"Awareness of our choices as they occur" implies that there is or was a point when he didnt know it.

You're still asserting that unaquired knowledge must be causal without demonstrating why. That's a logical leap. And 'awareness of our choices as they occur' refers to the content of His timeless knowledge, not Him learning over time. He knows your future free choices inherently, without causing them or 'acquiring' knowledge in a human sense.

My point is that your claim – 'the scientific method is the only currently known method for us humans to come to conclusions of truth' – is one of those things not scientifically proven. You're asserting a truth that cannot be validated by your own standard.

I said "the only currently known method for us humans". I didnt say there will never be another method ever.

Its like saying we humans dont know anything about T-Rex being still alive and then you say: Prove that statement.

Is this your golden debate standard? Really?

You're missing the point. Your claim about science being the only method for truth is a philosophical statement. It's not scientifically proven itself. My 'golden debate standard' is simply applying your own rule to your own statement – it's a self-refuting claim.

First of all: Yes, I talk about the christian god. I dont know enough about others, thats the god I talk about here. I cant talk competently about other gods and also didnt try to.

Maybe I dont know a damn thing, but you dont either. And you know who didnt know a damn thing either? Swami Vivekanada. No one knows shit, will all just make our assumptions, so if you wanna come from that direction do not exclude yourself or the dude you love so much.

We all here know that symbols are manmade thanks. And I dont believe in any god.

Thank you for kindly admitting that if you did take the time to research more we could have a more productive conversation.

I was once an avid agnostic/atheist just like Swami Vivekananda but then you research it ALL not just some of it.

I was raised Catholic and I needed more proving of God's existence/non existence and I think it's a damn shame people don't research into it.

It's not about being right or wrong. There is no such thing as right or wrong only the mind makes it so(Buddhist philosophy).

If he knows my future and has nothing to do with it THATS a logical leap. Demonstrate it.

I didnt make a claim, I described the current state of humanities ability to prove stuff.

Describing 'the current state of humanity's ability to prove stuff' is itself a truth claim about reality, namely, 'It is true that currently, the scientific method is humanity's only way to prove stuff.'

So, how do you scientifically prove that descriptive claim? It remains a philosophical statement about science, not a scientific finding. The self-refutation persists.

Yes, its a statement about science. I agree. I never said its a scientific finding. It was a personal observation. One that I think no one can disprove. If you can tho, pick up your nobel price.

Calling it a 'personal observation' doesn't make it exempt from its own claim. You're asserting that 'the scientific method is the only way to prove truth' as a truth. How do you scientifically prove that particular claim?
