For finding runes for mosaic (x2) in hc sp is better:

1) lower kurast p8 and stress me
2) terror zone p5( only elites)
3) pit not terrorized p8 (only elites)
4) other
?

But, in legacy, I do Hell Kurast chest runs for runes and nice charms. Try to find and kill special/unique monster packs in places like Pitt level 2, Chaos, and all the World Stone Areas. For finding anything, the formula is faster kill, more drops to find what you need.

Definitely Lower Kurast, as a zerker you're not killing lots of monsters fast, which you need for finding runes. Shouldn't take you long to find a Gul and Mal from there. Chests can drop up to Ber.

Council at Travincal would be another option for a zerker. They're meant to be really good for runes and can drop up to Cham I believe, although I've never had much luck with it.
