Been playing since 2000 and finally starting up a single player empire. Wonder how long itll take me to get an enigma lol. Started a sorc of course of course and did some nm andy and got a 32/13 vipermagi and 44 tarnhelm so we are off to a good start

Just started my first SP too. I went with the cookie cutter HDin. HC P8 at all times. Took me 3.5 weeks to get an enigma and cta. Lower Kurast is your friend. Found Ber in River of Flame non-terrorized. Found Jah in a Durance 3 terror zone. Lower Kurast for all the other cta runes.

Do NM tzones for most of the necessary non treasure 85 uniques.

What is the rune cap on nm tz’s? Can you find high or just mid runes

I found LK runs are a bit slower in Resurrected due to loading times. But if you're especially dedicated and/or maybe a little crazy, can get Enigma from there in maybe 7-10 days, speaking from experience.

I started SP about 2.5 months ago…?
Took me about a week or two maybe to get enigma runes using a sorceress, though I think I got lucky. Threw it on a barb to start running pits.

Found Ber in LK players 8
Found Jah in either chaos or ancient tunnels terrorized, can’t remember

Have also found Cham and Zod although completely worthless. Wish you could degrade runes lol

LK is great for rune finding. Sound several Gul, Sur, and a Ber. Also Pul, Lem, Ist, Mal, Um, etc. to upgrade to Vex and Ohm to make CTA. However, not only is LK great for runes but you can find several good bases from racks, flawless gems for crafting and rolling charms, and you’ll find several good scs and gcs.

Still yet to find a SoJ though after an absurd amount of Andy, Meph, Diablo, TZ, Pits. I need to spawn clone for anni recently leveled up a pally and started farming torches.

Sell 1 soj to vendor and dclone will pop up
No difference in getting a torch

Single player has its charms, so different from online.

I personally am more extreme in that I only want to play weapon dependent characters (Frenzy, Zealot, Fury Druid etc), and attempt to complete the game in a single pass p8 setting. That means no re-running areas for MF etc. Makes for a fun challenge where you have to make do with sub-optimal gear.

Ty having fun so far. Im a sorc so a lot of the early struggle is alleviated but im planning to do builds of melee barbs, palys, and druids. They wont be untwinked as i want to put together builds out of what i can find.

So far i have a butchers pupil and a headstriker to shore up some decent early weapons along with shael and ko and waiting for a base to make hustle. Just found a monarch as soon as i started hell and debating to use socket quest. I think i might power out a socket on a new char i found full sigons already so they shouldnt be hard to farm
