This is a globe earth vs flat earth post.
Y'all aware a lot of people still thinks the earth is flat.

If you don't know Scimandan he's a youtuber, debunking flat earthers.
Recently he did a solstice experiment, where he collected 1015 data points from his viewers and calculated solar angles from each points to reproduce the Eratosthene experiment but at a large scale.

I work as a software engineer in the geoscience modelisation domain, so I reached out to him and proposed to modelise the data in 3d for him.

IKR i have so much flat earthers around. Fortunatly, i've been able to convince 2-3 that they war falling into a sect !
Also, since the modelisation of geolocalised geoscientific data is my job, I couldn't miss the opportunity to participate in the largest experiement ever done to collect solar angles and prove the globe! This experience has never been done on that large scale.
Last time it was eratosthenes in like 300 BC with 2 sticks. We did it with >1000 data points.
