Apparently alvin asked for a 1st for boeser, but the only teams interested in was Florida and Carolina. However Florida backed out when they found out they could get Marchand for cheaper conditional 2nd. & Carolina asked alvin to take kotkniemi + 1 of their 1st for boeser and one of williander/lekker/dpetey (rumored top prospect alvin didn't want to part with)

Sucks nothing happened at rhe deadline but fuck that. I wouldn't have accepted Carolinas offer either lol. I'll just have to cope and be happy we got Marcus Pete for only a 1st, he woulda went much higher seeing how pricey some of these guys were at the deadline
