Definitely hasn’t tried many Ryobi products. It’s a great deal for the money. As I mentioned. I’ve done some pretty big products with Ryobi stuff.

Says a guy with charsi gear.

If I saw you on a job site with a Ryobi you would be digging ditches for me instead.

Is there really that big of a difference between brands, though? I feel like it's mostly just petty insignificant differences that don't really matter in the long run.

It largely comes down to long term durability. The higher price of the top brands is meant to be justified by it lasting longer with constant use. Which is why there's no need for home or personal use

This.

As I’ve said. I’ve roofed my house, built a shed and many other projects at home with Ryobi. Honestly it’s more durable than my newer Milwaukee stuff. DeWalt is still tops for durability though.

There sure is. In just about every metric, good quality tools are better than cheap counterparts. The only justification I could see is weekend warriors who only use it to cut 2 pieces of timber and put up a picture on the wall.

The tools are an investment and will be worth every penny in the long run. Especially if you are thinking of building or renovating your house.
