I am seriously questioning why you feel Grief x2 PB is the best with your primary justification being "Repairing sucks".. There are plenty of ethereal options that don't require repairing?
phase blades are indestructible without having the ethereal quality... bc they phase in and out of the physical plane.. lore-wise. and grief is always best in slot for mainhand. there is no other way to have indestructible grief. grief zerkers rack up absurd repair bills. if you insist on using one.. just use non-superior base.
there are a few options for second hand.. the most obvious being grief pb. personally, I think last wish is overrated and inferior to grief.. especially on a smiter with exile.
2nd hand options:
death zerker -- 20%AR bonus, up to 385ed, 50 crushing blow, deadly strike based on clvl
ebotd zerker -- 60ias, gg stats, up to 400ed, massive dual leech
last wish - fade proc, life tap proc (i would not use this in non-ubers, bc it will over-ride other curses.. u should have a decrep or amp source), 17 might aura, 60-70 crushing blow
-lawbringer for sancutary + decrep procs. allows faith merc instead of e-reaper's toll. sanctuary is awesome for clearing undead in ubers especially. lawbringer is just really cool.
