hello

i just pvp 30 with friends for fun, so i dunno what serious 30 pvp is like. friend wants to make 30 fire sorc or bowzon for more serious duels, but didnt know how good this is.
dont want to spend coin just to get farmed i assume same counter meta as hld but dunno how rigid it is at 30

any guidance? not sure if there is a tier list or something of that nature

If you play with friends who only use self-drop items like you, then it can be fun.

If you want to play against random LLD players, you'll need high-level gear for a meta druid.

A barb, charger, sorcerer, and Ama can be suitable for low budgets.

The LLD PvP rules no longer really exist. A copy-paste of the old D2 LOD rule with 2 or 3 different changes chosen by the LLD Discord hosts. (The rules are mainly changed to please the pool tournament donors.)
Personally, I find it pathetic that no player has actually made a much better 2025 ruleset...

Teleport and bowazon duels are the worst. You teleport randomly and try to get a lucky hit while staying out of range of enemy attacks. Lightning is no good because it travels too slowly (generally speaking here).

Bowazon duels are garbage. What are you even doing? Run away and shoot arrows is the only strategy. An off-class opponent mostly tries to teleport on top of the bowazon to stun them. In team LLD duels, the bowazon is basically the main damage dealer/leader.

The only fair location to duel is the Black Marsh Tower Cellar.

The ruleset is balanced around those who have a full inventory of 32015's small charms. That's how all fake "tournament" duels are anyways--even high level.

It wouldn't be fair to roast those trash rules without offering a fix, but they won't like my #1 suggestion: ban guided arrow.

1v1 Sorc and Bowazon duels aren't interesting... I agree.
The goal is to be far enough away to hit your opponents at the limit of the distance where the arrows and fireballs disappear.
It even bugs the game and creates invisible projectiles...
Blizzard has no intention of doing anything for PvP... 2025 and a server this crappy and the same bugs and PvP problems when 2000 😅💩👏

i agree with your sentiment, but if you know the history of this website... the pvp follows the same direction. there is a reason most organized pvp here doesnt have a gear cap





i had a decent temp rare bow/jav and insight base, he is going to make a zon!

If u want a decent budget bowa setup

2 passive 30frw circ with any adds u can get or 1zon/30frw
2passive ammy or 1 zon with life/res as u can get
Twitchroe armor (socket with a 24max jewel for budget)
Insight in either razor bow or double bow(double more dmg) prioritizing ed and crit level
Sander boots
String of ears belt close to 15/15 dr/mdr as u can get
2pass/10 ias gloves w any adds like life rep/res etc (ull also want 10ias/kb gloves eventually so wouldnt go for str)
2 rings with str/life/res etc

Then whatever eth rep harpoons or ceremonials and either a rare 2 soc shield or a 3 socket artisans of deflecting(20ed/9dex basic)

any frw charm in inventory? or max/life best

U want 100 frw minimum(70 from Sanders and circ alrdy) vs most things, and 130 specifically 1 on 1 vs amy decent barbs or troll melee wolves/other frw style, rest max ar life
