Lol so much coping

You're right that if you remove silicon valley (a relatively small area with nearly the entire GDP of Texas by itself), then California's economy would not be much larger than other states. Nice analysis.

I never said California is better or worse than any state. It has the largest economy by far which is an objective fact. It has many other problems including massive inequality, but economy and money are areas where California dwarfs every other state.

By size and population is California the biggest state(Alaska cannot be included it's citizenry is dwarfed by Cali).

You are comparing California with South Dakota and other states that don't have direct access to the Pacific Ocean which like I said is a big deal that people who create "charts" and "statistics" can't exactly put that in there can they?

California has every advantage most other states would benefit from but simply don't have the geography.

California is so great though bro you guys do all the heavy lifting you are the worlds number 1 gdp omg cali so strong it could secede and stand on its own(with chinas help)

Wake up dude you are looking at things without any real added context. You are trying to make something complicated sound simple and you are too dumb to do it so don't try it lol.

You are the person comparing states and throwing insults

You made the comparison that California "objectively" does "more" by simply stating a platitude. Good job. This is a reflection of your insecurities actually thinking "your state" is "better" then another state all based on some numbers and charts.

I believe Texas’ population growth is ALSO outpacing California not just is GDP growth.

Too much communistic ideologs floating around in California imo

You have the Silicon Gods who want to put a chip in you or make it so you have to interact with their technology everyday of your life. Artificial Intelligence replaces you it doesn't make you "Iron Man". Wearing META's new Rayban smart glasses so you can livestream everyday of your life is a toxin no one ever needed.

I am of the notion that if the internet and cell phones went away we'd all be much happier and connected. The internet gives you the illusion of connectivity with family and friends but a physical interaction actually makes you feel more alive

Products like Tik-tok are brain rot and ChatGPT is programmed by humans with opinions/bias just like anything else.

The technologies invented in California were actually DARPA(Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) products that our government created. The internet was meant for sharing sensitive scientific data but they realized meta mining was the real gold. Our government funded the founders of these giant tech companies they were not savant geniuses just useful nerd tools the US military industrial complex could use to their benefit.

When you know the history of such technologies you don't exactly have respect for Californians byproducts. Their farmers I love. I love all farmers. Except the ones who farm human beings with technology.

No single state is more responsible for working with elements of the Chinese government to usurp America's full spectrum dominance then California and then my home state of Illinois(Chicago) and New York City follow down that same path.

Texas is nice because taxes are significantly less, you can live totally remote or in a major city like Dallas/Austin/Houston.

Texas is winning out in the long term not because it's a more efficient state(quantitively) but because most Midwesterners/East Coasters move south to Florida/Georgia/Tennessee/Kentucky/Texas because each state offers something for everyone and that's the beauty of the United States of America. You could be fishin for marlins in Miami while your friend is out looking for Grizzly bears in Alaska.

I would never say my home state is better on any metric then another state because each state offers something uniquely different that benefits the WHOLE UNION not just "Californians" "Illinoisans" "New Yorkers'

My home state of Illinois is billions upon billions in debt because of wasteful government spending. All Illinoisans know Chicago is the only reason Illinois is still a blue state. I couldn't find a single person in Chicago who said "Kamala Harris for Prez!"

I said California has the largest economy of US states and that it's growing faster economically in recent years, I never bragged about it or said it meant California is the best state

These are facts you can look up, not opinions, you seem to agree since you said it's a "platitude"

Your rebuttal here is saying nothing except that my words are hurting your feelings somehow. Sounds like insecurity to me.

You are going to think the world has gone insane next year.

I don't disagree with you on some points, maybe some people will be happier without technology. Highly debatable if you mean society as a whole

But it doesn't matter. I'm saying whether you like it or not, AI is going to take over America starting this year. The president has passed a spending bill that has blocked federal AI regulation, so nothing will stop them in the near future.

It’s why in my home state of Illinois we’ve sued the mega tech companies based out of your state for privacy breaches/data manipulation etc. because your state/local were pussies standing up to big tech and totally bought off the federal government had to come in and basically slap them on the wrist for stealing data from every human being with access to the internet.

Just because AI is already embedded in our everyday life without our permission and is already in use does not magically make AI superior to a human in almost any regard outside programmed tasks and it’s ability to compute raw data in real time. People have already started the “phone detox” and “no tech vacations/retreats” because AI is an automated process that is slightly faster than you at a basic task. When it comes to complex high level thinking a machine can never do what the human brain can. If a Tesla is in self driving mode it’s ultra convenient until a car flips the barrier on the highway and hurdles directly at you. If you aren’t paying attention you’re dead. AI can’t compute new variables easily in real time. All that being said yes most if not all jobs will be done with the help of AI and we will all be forced on to some level of UBI(Universal Basic Income). As populations skyrocket and AI advanced there will be an even greater gap between ultra rich and ultra poor because the ultra rich are building and profiting themselves off all these technologies with little to zero consequences for the psychological damages these things cause EVERYONE.

Why support the unwarranted expansion and implementation of these things into every human beings life. Call it the mark of the beast because that’s what it is, “You won’t be able to buy or sell without it”. I can’t even use cash at a ballgame. Tip my waitress/hair stylist because it’s all “digital only”. Dumbest fucking thing I’ve ever seen. You got to a Chicago Cubs game and they won’t take your cash but they have these little vending machines throughout the ball park and you insert cash and get a prepaid gift card to use. All because they think one of the vendors is gonna pocket some cash..

Edit: and it’s that slow and subtle push they’ve done into all of our lives while most people were high on their product. It goes to show the level of brainwashing and the “frog in the boiling pot theory”. We’re the frog and AI is the water/temp. We’re blissfully unaware that this technology could at any moment flip a switch and become totally destructive towards our species. By then it’s too late were cooked and we’re all already “cooked”.

California’s GDP growth in the last 5 years has AVERAGED 1.7% compared to Texas’ 5 year average of 5.8%. California had a good (on paper) 2024 but most economists believe it’s due to bloated tech that will drop off heavily as competition gets thicker.

We all know when you tax/tariff something the negative result always gets passed down to the consumers/employees in a capitalist economy. I’ve seen people time and time again champion for tariffs or champion for taxing the wealthy more. These are two separate issues championed by two separate political identities that result in the same thing with no logical or even feasible response in how to respond to the inevitable backlash of those actions.

Republicans say “Tariff other countries until we get a fair deal”. Then prices go up on certain goods and people suffer(usually the poorest among us.)

Democrats say “Tax the rich” and in response companies start doing massive layoffs and raising the price of their goods and services.

Let’s be honest for once here. CEOs and Owners of businesses are not going to lower their income or living standards in order to accommodate people they view as “lesser beings”. All of these Tarrif and Taxing the rich plans are idealism at its finest and will never result 100% in the way they are pitched. Could short term success “possibly” happen? Yes. Will long term damage “definitely” happen? Yes.

Even though this is spammed endlessly as gospel the debate is actually not settled on it. Current data since tariff announcement shows literally the opposite, that inflation is actually down.

Tariffs like other taxes, tax consumption. If demand slows enough, you actually may not even see inflation but slowing growth due to lower consumption, so producers may cut into their margins/push their suppliers for lower prices if they can before pushing price hikes unto the consumer.

? Microsoft just laid off thousands to replace them with AI. HEB, Walmart, Target go even further into self check out only. Automotive factories closing. Businesses closing. All stating cost effectiveness.

Naw. I refuse to believe anything the government or news says. I can see with my own eyes by stepping out the house.
