a kitchen knife hold it all together

e/industrial, rusty, old and not so available, exactly as I had in mind

Good, but Get a big bed.

No space next to me, only space ontop

Last time i had a 2 person bed, i filled it all up with dirty laundry! And my room was small as hell

That's a cool lamp! ^^

Just gonna quote a post i made yesterday. Consider it!

Lol that's fun. Because i've just recently came to the realization that i'm going to make my bed retractable. I.e., build that frame thing round my apartment top corners first. Then, make some kind of rigging system, with a winch, that i can tie ropes to two bed legs, then simply pull the end of the rope and it being lifted up to the wall, making space in what should be my dining room.

Lots of ideas coming since i took up woodworking.

And .. make my own riggable dining room furniture ^^ That i can simply screw together and apart, and tie together with ropes, and put on shelves along the frame shelves........

If i ever get to it, you'll see it. It would be so cool.

Sometimes the path to one's ambitions is filled with danger. To know success is to face that danger.

D you make it? Make it so that you either lie down or stand up when at the pc. No sitting allowed.

Not to nag, but regarding lamps, been thinking about that lately too. What kind of lamps -do- i actually like? What kind of design, light, placement? A lot to consider when you think about it.

I like lamps that are relatively small, cylindrical in shape, and that hides the light from where it originates, yet gives sort of conical outward light shape, i.e. cover a relatively moderate amount of area. Lamps that direct light.

But, i can also like ceiling lamps, like slightly oval light screens, that gives a very uniformal light all over the room. But is not sharp on the eye when you look at it. Like a sort of subdued light, but still with enough effect to light up the room enough to do things.

I also really like copper effects. Like the sort of cylindrical lamps, with copper bands or similar.

One last element: I don't like to screw things to walls. So having lamps that are mounted on a sort of thin, but sturdy and easy to move around. Like perhaps an iron cast pole with a tripod footing, that can easily fit under tables and/or couches. So that it can easily be placed along walls. I had a design idea for this some years ago. Maybe i should go to an inventor with it.

It's cool to work with design when you think about it.

And work it in line with your astrological energy. Copper is the metal of Taurus. So implementing that in my design work becomes second nature.
