Yes. Even from when d2r was launched. Those things were crude versions at first. Quickly following those were the refined versions. Personally, I am reluctant to bot as you do not know what the bot makers put in the parts of their code which is made to be difficult to disassemble/reverse engineer. Just Wendy's Frosties and the usual magicfind and levelling grind for me.
