Should churches be tax exempt? Look at Kenneth Copeland. Worth anywhere between 300 milloon to a billion. He is America's richest pastor. Check out his hunting ranch with its own airport.

Separation of church and state means no taxes can be levied

If you want them taxed, you must also be okay with state Christianity ^^ most tax revenue should go towards building and serving massive churches tbh

So Abrahamic centric of you. So BASED I'm glad to be back gonna eviscerate you and your libtard friends.

At my Ashram the devotees pay all bills and the property tax is the only benefit of their 501c3

Not all religious institutions are the Catholic church(don't get started on the Roman Catholic Church that's about the end of his religious wisdDUMB)

I think there needs to be better regulation here.

There are a couple church groups in my region which exploit the hell out of it. The church owns all of the property and the members pay into the church. When the young members marry at 18, the church provides a house assuming they continue to pay in. The same people hold positions in most of the small town and county offices. Run many of the blue collar businesses and can drive out competition easy.

So, not only do they get favorable loop hole treatment on real estate and taxes, but they game things like blind auctions. Stories of locals putting winning bid in to find out, oppsy poopsy church actually won retroactively through mysterious clerical errors. (Clerk calling family during blind bidding)

Then, smaller compassionate churches trying to help homeless by allowing things like THOW getting raided.

I don't think religious protections are being respected, just tools to exploit and actual measures to protect just raided

The there are also goofy elite places like C street and the Family
