Why are you giving trump credit for cutting excessive spending? He said he would do that, but he is increasing spending. You can read the spending bill he just passed. Whether you think it's money well spent or not, it is objectively increasing the deficit

If that list exists and there are a whole bunch of very influential / wealthy people on that list then it's clear Trump was being advised by many to not release that list for obvious reasons.

The reality is that no one is prepared to cut spending. The effort should've yielded more results and ultimately the US pays the price of more interest over more debt it's simple as that.
