I suppose.
I only post while at work, when I'm making money.
Otherwise not so much, I'll be doing things I enjoy.
I guess I don't see the enjoyment of putting a report together for an imaginary boss for free.
Ah, I too am at this "work" thing. We have this in common buddy! I certainly wouldn't be sacrificing my game time or time with kids to be able to "work" on here. lol. It's more of a time filler throughout my 10 hour work day.
To this, an imaginary boss I wouldn't consider it. I would have done what I enjoyed and if they didn't like it, I would have been out. Much like being a guild leader/officer in WoW. The second I'd had differing opinions from others or if my enjoyment doesn't align, I'm out.
That being said, I've made a ton of friends leading guilds in WoW.
Take this conversation for example. If not for me mentioning it, you and I wouldn't be conversing about it. It has certainly given me perspective on how other people see the staff that "work" on the website. The perspective that I have, is in regards to the people "bumping" their scammer accusations for upwards of months at a time with no resolution. I have the shit or get off the pot mentality and feel bad for those that are getting screwed by thieves. Much like I was/am pissed off for people that are exploiting the game, taking others along for the ride and then the person buying the service gets banned. Then I call out the dude, and instead of holding him accountable, I am "punished" with a 15 minute suspension because they viewed me calling him out as harassment.
Just seems so backwards. However, if he is exploiting, charging people fg's then that means people that don't earn have to buy fg to pay for it and it means more money in the pockets of the staff so I just said fuck it. Ain't my job. I did get a sweet thread made about me before they closed it though.
