Cooked a turkey breast roll yesterday, experimentation, straight from freezer in the oven, 7 hours, 100C/212F, regular heat. Meat thermometer showed 85C when done, i let it rest for 2 hours, then put in fridge. Sliced it today, it had a strange consistency .......... i tried biting into a piece, it actually tasted raw. Idk if it was, but i don't take chances.

So i fried a few slices and an end piece in olive oil, put salt+pepper on and a touch of leek cream cheese. It tasted very nice. A little strange first taste, but then turned nice. Consistency was nice.

Next time, i'll cook it properly; Thaw it first, then cook on proper heat, rest, slice, fridge, freeze.

Will turn out some nice slices though for breakfast+lunch n such. Aslo got a little bit of broth that i'll keep to mix with some halfway whipped cream for a nice sauce some day.

why you eat at the computer instead of joining your Mom who cooked for you?

My coworker said a similar thing to me like minutes ago lmao
She said i should join my family for dinner like what normal families do
I told her i enjoy watching stream in my room while eating rather than talking with the family :P

It's a bit too much. Half now, half later. Take my advice.

About to make a little bit of turkey meat after doing the dishes... small piece of cheese, some greek vanilla yoghurt, and a piece of avokado. Will keep me until later. Dunno what i'll make yet.

Always grew up eating dinner with my family, always.
Had to finish my glass of milk no matter what.
I brought this into my relationship and me and my fiance eat at the table together every time we cook dinner.
I miss it, a lot. Soak it in while you can imo.

I recently got a quilt from my mom I always wanted and she gave it up finally.
It smells like home still, I slept with it the other night and it was such a good feeling.
I might be taking it back to my mom when I visit for her to wash it and have it sit in the house for a couple days to bring it back from time to time lol.

Despite our extremely, extremely different personalities and values, we did get one similar thing in our upbringing.

I don't drink milk anymore now though. It somehow makes me a bit sick. But. I use cream n milk in cooking sometimes. Not often, but sometimes.

I got that thing in my head once, lol, when i was workin out a time period, i watched the movie Leon the professional, he drinks milk all the time ^^ So i decided to try that .. after a few days, i started sneezing a lot ..... then started like, ugh, i don't feel too nice, got a bit of cold and such... quit that after a week .. then got back to normal health ^^ Strange. Did about a liter of milk a day xD Skimmed though ^^ Less phat.
