Short answer: I think Yes.

Long answer: Maybe CPU power more than AI, but I am 99% sure that both will happen.
in the near future technology will be good enough to feature long dead actors in movies as if they were alive.
Rogue One delievered a first glimpse into the future with its depiction of Grand Moff Tarkin. That of course wasnt too convincing, but that was where it seriously started and technology will be ready quite soon.

Completely AI generated movies however which are also good....this will certainly take a little while tho.
