Democratic held supreme court in democratic state strikes down a gun control law written by the democratic controlled legislature because... they wrote it like morons. Or more specifically, magically reinterpreted it to apply to printed weapons when that was never the intent or conceived application.
The original 1994 law was meant to make it a crime to possess a weapon with a removed serial number, but prosecutors tried to use it to say possessing any firearm without a serial number is now a felony
Except as recently as 2022, the state itself was selling firearms without serial numbers on them from confiscation auctions. And arguing anyone who bought a product the DNR was legally selling, was a felon

Jeff Evely, from Nova Scotia, was fined $28,872.50 for walking into the woods, against a recent government order in the province. Interesting to note that Evely was arrested in 2022 during the Freedom Convoy movement, for mischief and obstruction, for entering a closed-off zone.
