That's great. But tommy doesn't seem to know what insulation is.

also there are benefits and downsides to having thick concrete buildings. We have those here in USA too. My old building i recently moved from, concrete. Great for most reasons, but not that great in earthquakes. the building doesn't want to sway so it can jump around instead potentially. my new building isn't concrete so it does shake a little from nearby rattle, but it's absorbing the shock which is what it's supposed to do. but also PNW doesn't get hurricanes/tornados really so don't have to worry about those.

But the main point here is, tommy has no idea what he's talking about. as usual. He literally thinks we are a 3rd world country that lives in cardboard boxes lol. That's just plain ignorant.

But i saw videos of the texas flood, houses floating away like exactly what T-man states; Cardboard boxes. So he is definitely onto something.

And to stay on topic of the thread, they may be airy, but does not insulate to the cold. But i guess that depends on where you live. Also, they are cheap n easy to build. Even if a hurricane, flood or whatever smashes it to pieces, it's always cheap to build new. Stone n concy is much expensiver.

Spray bottle full of ice and saltwater.

Thank me later

You forgot the ice, dissolving salt into water without cooling it further actually increases the temperature through dissolution enthalpy. You need the ice with it

That's a good tip. Crushed ice in it .... finally practical good advice from this forum. Thank you.

Cool post xp Well sure, i like air conditioners. I've considered getting one. But. You know... it's kind of like, i am a human being. My body works. I want to be able to endure the heat with at least as few devices as possible .. try to keep it natural.. but more than that, lol, and probably the real reasons xD Is because of my very tiny flat, there is no space ^^ Also the cost for a good quality one, gotta go with 500$, it's too much for me. A bottle of icy salt water, a silent floor fan, and psychology, can save that cash.
