What's that an electric bike? Do you realize you just prove my point that people aren't prepared to give up the things I mentioned and in fact people are only burning up more electricity by putting electric motors in everything including bicycles (!) which would otherwise be great for getting around an getting some exercise at the same time.
Not even talking about your car, mobile and all the other shit, it's completely clear you'd never be prepared to give it up and you're just here to talk smack in this topic while people in Texas are grieving their drowned kids.
Disgusting

I do not have a car, I have an electric bike which I use for >100kms each week, mostly but not exclusively for the >10km drive to my sports club 4 times a week. A bike without a motor would be even better for the environment, but I would also not be able to get home in reasonable time after sport due to fatigue.
To the people more interested in floods than my personal vehicles, we had a very deadly flood in germany and the "consequences" part includes:
- politicians losing their position
- arguably laschet losing the race for chancellor
- improved early warnings systems
- new legislation
- and even criminal prosecution of some people responsible for the delayed disaster response
