Some of these changes going into effect after 2026 midterms is classic republican strategy

Pass shitty legislation and blame the other aisle once they're in majority. They know they're losing the house or senate or both.

I'm truly amazed. I'd have never dreamed sth like that is possible.
The corruption of the Trump family is so blatantly taking place out in the open - but tribal-like group cohesion makes maga blind to the obvious.

If you'd watch a movie featuring today's reality in America you'd be inclined to characterise it as too far-fetched and exaggerated.

Look were investment is going.
I guess Europe can thank Mr. Trump and his ridiculous administration - there's a shift towards the old world because what do markets look for?
Stability, predictability, a solid currency and the rule of law.

Unthinkable that the US is willing giving up on all of that.

You have to understand, America is all about capitalism, the notion is, if you are capable enough, you can make wealth and buy your own health insurance. Conversely there is no safety net and the US frowns on this notion. A not for profit health care system does not fit in the US model. This is why the US does not want mechanisms that will reduce individuals net worth as they climb the pyramid. To express this into layman's terms, the US is opposed to community support, that is to say, mechanisms to support the community and increase the standard of living of the poorest people. "Why should I pay anything in tax for the man down the street just because i am more wealthy then him".
