the throwing animation is so incredibly slow when you get frozen i swear to god
literally between the time i frozenly throw my axe and by the time i end it my merc has gone from full health to has been dead for 10 minutes

Yeah you feel the dropoff with throwers big time when you hit hell. Those big yeti things have massive HP and I think 50% physical resist.

I actually ended up preferring javelins/throwing spears, they hit harder, have more range (they can actually hit stuff off screen), and the smaller stack size doesn't matter with improved throw mastery. With where you're at you should be able find hyperion javelin, stygian pilum, and balrog spear! Ghost glaives hit the hardest but are pretty slow

Grim Ward in D2R reduces physical resist and slows monsters, and can be really useful before you have a source of amp/decrep.

thank god for you man...i literally had not even considered that javelins and pilums were throwable......haven't even been picking them up at all god DAMMIT
maybe i'll use them as bases now for my next crafts
