You shouldn't reward ppl who don't play the game play enough. Chase items and grinding items should be a reward to your efforts / luck as wel ofc. Otherwise you have something like d4.
Obv it's not perfect, they will adjust it. The game is literally in BETA.
i agree with that, but the curve in poe games isnt what it should be

in most things (in life too), it should look like a log graph. for example you start a new job, after 1 month you learn more than 50%, then in the next month you learn like 20%, then 10%, 5% etc. in gym also, beginners advance the fastest. or for example you want to buy a whisky bottle and 10$ wont get you anywhere, but with 50$ you can already buy a decent drink. 200$ and you are in the 5% best drinks if you know how to pick. then you have to invest thousands just to get slightly higher quality. d2 was the same for example, you could play a few days and get decent enough gear to do everything
but with poe, the curve doesnt seem to function that way. unless you invest a LOT of time, you wont be able to do much at all

it just wastes too much time for casuals so they dont play it. and time is the only thing getting more and more valuable

im fine with not being in the top 5% if i play an hour or two a day, but im not fine with my char being completely useless. simply not worth it
