Hello, I want to make a Zealer. For Zeal vs Zeal (with level 99 pally's) and I have tons of questions. I will try and only ask the most hard hitting questions, and then I have a few inventory options at the end based on my line of thinking and was wondering which would be the best trade off.


Questions:
1. When it comes to AR, is more always better, or is there a point in which going more won't benefit? Same question with Defense.
2. (Subject to change based on the consensus for question 1) My minimum goal AR in inventory is currently 740, which is how much someone would have with perfect 3/20/20's. Is this important to hit this 740 number despite the fact I would lose 15+ points of max damage? Is the trade off of losing max damage to meet the AR of a perfect inventory worth it?


INVENTORY OPTIONS (help me pick what is the best inventory
option 1 - 32x 3/18/20's and 5x 36ar/20L scs = 756 total AR, but a loss of 15 max damage.
option 2 - 37x 3/18/20's = 666 AR but a gain of 15 more Max damage than the 1st option.

Options 3 - Or would having much more 36/20 scs and much less max damage result in a statistically better Zealer? (dependent on if more AR is always better despite a big Max damage trade off)

Ar/def are important. U need to find sweet spot of ar vs different def imo or use an sr calc

Ur ar also depends on what weapon u use. Edc get -def + mass ar so u want as much damage/life as possible from everywhere u can get as ar no issue

Mallet fools tends to have biggest ar issue due to needed ias from most/all slots so imo get a little more ar from invent here if u need

Click, click, click... if you don't, you don't deal damage and you die because they click, click, click.


So, make sure you click like a fanatic... hard as you can and as fast as the speed of light... boom... you win in any and all games that require you to CLICK.

Thank you, as I learn more I am sure there will be an AR baseline to be competitive against high defense characters without EDC as primary. I appreciate your post man thanks!

I think you'll find that more than 1 click might be bm in the world of gm melee.

Did a test years ago... Berserk Barb vs a Conc Barb Hit for hit. Was enlightening, however, RNG if a fun fact even over 1,000 actions per action.
