1) topuria is already super loaded// he was filthy rich before coming to UFC. he spent more on his training camps than chump change wins from UFC
2) topuria cares more about legacy than money

if he becomes 3 division champ, i mean, thats it. You cant go up from there.

Like i would for sure just ride off into the sunset unless UFC offered me a large amount of equity and voting rights.

Topuria primarily strikes now because he gassed wrestling Zalal in his UFC debut. He came in as a submission guy, with only 1 knockout on his record. Zalal almost cooked him in the 3rd round because Topuria was tired. Zalal is clearly better than the UFC thought (cut him originally). Paddy has a great chin, can throw down and has great BJJ with very good cardio. He's much bigger than Topuria - he could absolutely win. About time we're getting new blood and the younger generation getting their chance. Enough of this regurgitated old guard shit.

There should also be an asterisk next to Topuria's double champ status - you didn't beat a champion to become double, you grabbed a vacant belt as a -500 favourite because Charles was never going to win.
