diablo 2 is 25 years old today. i remember i really started playing when LOD came out, i played the demo until the expansion was released then i bought it the day out came out.

Yeah it was cool. I member an associate had it n plyed it. It was kind of strange, i was not as captivated wen first seein it.. but then plyed it, it was like humm, cool, but not very interestead. I was plying, hmm, i don't rightly member, i think final fantasy 9, long game, n focused on others tuff, masoning career... "career" in brackets... Also warcraft 2, my comp could run that with no problems, 350 mhz ... but then i tried d2 on it, and it's like lol, it went fine at the starts, but aftr a while, it started laggin, when lots of stuff happeedo n screen xD Specially diablo, i member that well ^^ His firestorm attack, the comp, just KRRK .. KRRK .. KRRK .. xD while the paladin (zeal pala ofc lol) run around, then suddenly dead xD I was no good. My associate was like, got a polearm, n the ndealt some damage to diablo, but then just gave up deu to the lag xD So funny ^^

But in a while, i got a better comp, n tried again, then i got to nightmare, it was funner. I actually remember well, i found ginther's rift, got my zeal pala to nm shenk, i don't remember going further.

Then the shitty life thing happend, so much crap, couldn't ply much. Then in like 2006, when the crazy job thing was over, i landed a tiny little bit, n got back into d2. It got better then. Did zon more, the java zon, n got into hunting d clone. I member the website, diablo2.com, where i was a moderator. It was decent. I don't member all the names now ... omnicide was one of them, an aquarius. Some other fun people too, lol, we had some fun times. 2-3 years i was there, helping out. I member, someone came in, acted idiotic, got kicked right out. But those that acted better, got to stay. Shame that sight was shut down...

N then 2009-10 rolled round, i had made my user here then, but not used it much, or traded only. Then started a bit on chattin here n such. Nother shitter job got round. But i plyed occasionally. I member making the crafter ring that got 20 000 fg bid. Which i thought was insane. N then i deciede not to sell xD Just to spite'em xD It was hilarious ^^But stuid. Now, i wish i had sold. But who knows. Maybe it'd led me down a worse path. Being a worse person.

But like, through 2010-12-15-20 sort of thing, it was decent enough dealing on d2jsp... only then in 2015++ the bad stuff happened, people hatin on me for no reason, i give advice, ppl hatin, being personal, i retliate, i get banned, they get nought. N the same thing going on and on and on and on.

N it was more people back then, in 2010-12... much more people, always threads, even in hardcore.. i member the overpay threads, hellplague for like 100 fg, which i had, i had the habit of hoarding items xD Don't member the username, it was something.... That was a bit more in 2015.... it was fun. Rel fun. The last 5-7 years, been worse.

N my life's been bad too. Moving a lot, shitty places. Then i got the disability stuff, n my life got a bit better, but still been hard. Landed a bit now though. The amount of shitty people in this world astounds me. It can be so easy. N if you ply nice, everyone gets it better. But they play evil. So it's like, why bother? I'm not going to die miserable on account of idiots n psychopaths. I'll make myself happy. If you're good,i 'm good. If you're bad, i treat you like air.

N the warning stuff, lol, gettin A YEAR long ban................ others constantly harass n get nothing. I don't know. Money under the table sort of style. I won't ever do that. My integrity means everything ot me. Unlike so many others. Kill anyway they can.

But d2 stay a constant. It's just gettin more and more fun to me. Tryin out new htings, gettin into leadders, hardcore 7-8 years ago, much funner than softcore. Very very cool. Find ing my own style sort of style. Everyone should do that. Forget abotu the cookie cutter stuff. Do what YOU WANT to do. Forget about high runes n big fg items. That's so ridiculous.

Man i member that ........... back early 2008~ish..... norwegian group on another thing, an idiot telling me "you suck", becasue i asked question about the assassin clws n their value ... n later in game , i saw him cahtting up a girl, uuh, telling hir like so confident n secretly, uuh, those claws are worth sooo much ..... but of course no t telling me ... "oyu suck donkey dick" he wrote to me ... for no reason. Assholes, everywhere. Everywhere. I'm done with'em. I should have written his name down, but i'm a graceful man, probbly why he hated me, he's hateful, i'm good. Glad i'm not like him.

I don't get it though. Where are the parents? Give their kids a good slap round the ear, MAKE them behave.

But, i just play d2 and am happy. Forget about the bad stuff. Get to know it.

Yay! As much as I love, love, and love this game, I do catch myself wondering what would I have done with all of that time that was spent playing this game over the last 25+ years (incl. Diablo 1, too). I don't think I would have solved the big questions of life. Yet, I may have experienced a greater number of things. We live with the choices we make.

You didn't miss out on much... I put the game down.. worked my ass off, had a kid.. then the girl took off with the kid, haven't seen it in over a decade, and costs probably the same if not more than any severe drug addiction with no satisfaction at all...

Personally you probably made the right choice sticking with d2.. The "memories" you may have "missed" are in the "movies and media" .. It is not the average reality for the average person. Life is hard.. Life is cheap.. and truth is.. if you are a male chances are once you hit age 30 your mom will be the only person who truly loves or cares about you until shes dead.. Then you're on your damn own til the end.. You work hard to simply pay for other peoples time, some crave the attention so bad they submit to the system.. Others get so depressed they start hating it and isolate becoming anti-social. Yes the choices are yours.. but the system is broken either way.
