1)
Embiid had a 6 year stretch where he played 75% of all available games. Including 2 seasons where he played OVER 80% of the games.

You don't need to win a championship to make the HOF LOL

Championships are team awards. HOF is an individual honor.

Your not getting it, he has 0 playoff success which is the point. He's lost at every opportunity he's ever given, playoff choker. Basketball is the one sport(besides qb in nfl) where one player can make a MASSIVE difference because they play both sides of the ball and play majority of the game. He's also never been a healthy player.

Reward excellence and longevity, not someone who got a petty MVP and can't even win a 2nd rd series. REGULAR SEASON HERO.

You act like this guy didnt ball out and average 35 PPG against the knicks the last time he was in the playoffs while playing elite defense...and still lost. All with Bell's Palsy and 1 knee.

Or had an absurd +89 +/- against the Raptors years ago in a series where nobody on his team was remotely close (all but 1 were negative).

Or average 34/11 against the Hawks but his next best teammate was Ben Simmons lmfao.

Again, Championships are a team accomplishment. You sound silly. Embiid has done MORE than enough to win it all numerous times. He just doesnt have teammates who bail him out (like Tatum does)

Tell Charles Barkley or Tracy McGrady they aren't HOF players because they didnt win a chip. 😂

How? Embiid better at his peak than Barkley was. I love Chuck, but he was undersized (6'4) and a weak/mid defender. He was also nowhere near the scorer Embiid is. Chuck never raised the floor of a team the way Embiid does.

Only thing separating them career wise is Chuck played longer. Embiid is still playing, but obviously will not have as long of a career.

Both zero rings though. 16 years Chuck played and no rings. Still made the HOF though which he shouldn't have according to Vtrix lol!!!

the last 7 years, 7 different teams have won and embiid didnt even finish top 4 once. during barkley's prime he at least made the finals and his team scored the same amount of points as the winning team. Jordan is the goat. Its like if KD didnt join the warriors, he would still be a HOF. Embiid just doesnt elevate his team the way a HOF should. Jimmy Butler and Embiid both cost themselves HOF by not winning together

"At least made the finals"

Again, that means nothing. You're celebrating 2nd place. You still lost. You still don't have a ring. No HOF resume has "well at least he kinda did good in the playoffs but didnt win it all"

Also, Embiid and Butler played together for half a season. Half a fucking season, and it was early in Embiid's career when he wasnt even in his prime yet lmao. You act like these guys were paired up for years and didn't achieve anything.

Embiid arguably impacts the game more than anyone in the league when hes healthy at his peak. Which unfortunately has not been often enough. He raises the floor of any team unlike anyone else because he can be the best defender and best scorer in the game on any given night against anyone. There's nobody else in the league like that. Jokic, who you guys love, js an insane offensive player, but he's a free bucket on the other end. Embiid is legitimately a player thay checks every box aside from health. He has no weaknesses on the floor at 100% health which is the only thing holding him back from being at the top.

But yeah...Embiid is making the HOF. Silly argument to say otherwise. A player with his accolades doesn't not make it lol. He's so much better than so many guys who have already gotten in.

But since we like to celebrate 2nd place so much how about 3 straight seasons finishing top 2 in MVP voting? 🤷‍♂️😏

I can see why these forums are dying.

I understand trying to debate and or have a conversation but this is really fucking dumb.

I know receiving actual facts and a reasonable argument is tough, but this convo isn't a hot take by any means. Just the usual haters. Embiid won MVP (should have been his second) and they're the same people who cried racism for fucks sake 😂

Meanwhile the response I get is "yeah bufuck embiid hes a soft bitch!!!"

So yeah, although f4 fo sho
