the last 7 years, 7 different teams have won and embiid didnt even finish top 4 once. during barkley's prime he at least made the finals and his team scored the same amount of points as the winning team. Jordan is the goat. Its like if KD didnt join the warriors, he would still be a HOF. Embiid just doesnt elevate his team the way a HOF should. Jimmy Butler and Embiid both cost themselves HOF by not winning together
"At least made the finals"
Again, that means nothing. You're celebrating 2nd place. You still lost. You still don't have a ring. No HOF resume has "well at least he kinda did good in the playoffs but didnt win it all"
Also, Embiid and Butler played together for half a season. Half a fucking season, and it was early in Embiid's career when he wasnt even in his prime yet lmao. You act like these guys were paired up for years and didn't achieve anything.
Embiid arguably impacts the game more than anyone in the league when hes healthy at his peak. Which unfortunately has not been often enough. He raises the floor of any team unlike anyone else because he can be the best defender and best scorer in the game on any given night against anyone. There's nobody else in the league like that. Jokic, who you guys love, js an insane offensive player, but he's a free bucket on the other end. Embiid is legitimately a player thay checks every box aside from health. He has no weaknesses on the floor at 100% health which is the only thing holding him back from being at the top.
But yeah...Embiid is making the HOF. Silly argument to say otherwise. A player with his accolades doesn't not make it lol. He's so much better than so many guys who have already gotten in.
