Always been the concern with this team. Starting pitching will always keep them in it, but the offense is so streaky. Thats what happened in the playoffs and its frustrating.

Ranger's ERA down to 2.08. 10 starts on the season, and since getting blasted in his season debut (3.2 IP 7 ER) he has given up a total of 8 ER in 9 starts since (1.17 ERA). Sheeeeesh 🔥🔥🔥

do we really let him walk if he finishes the year strong? of course all depends on what the outcome of this season is but its gonna be a tough call if he finishes with close to 30 starts, sub 3 era, 1.00 whip 160+ k's. the rotation, plus painter , im sure we'll get a taste at some point this year but damn that just sounds lovely.
idk what they think of marchan as far as if he can carry a full workload, but im figuring resigning jt for a year or 2 is what they are gonna do, unless they get someone from outside the org and platoon catcher. then what happens to schwarby
