As soon as someone shares a hot ip, then make and leave games (with the proper amount of delay so you dont get a soft ban) and check to see if you are on the BNET ip which is the hot ip. Good luck! Oh, and have a D Clone killer as it tends to heal quite fast.

Man ao few of us on ladder d2

I am going to guess that many original legacy d2'rs have married, kids, and/or a career or work that they have to focus on. Or, they stumbled upon other games which caught their attention.
I find this game to be as like MS Solitaire. I love picking it up from time to time and playing for a while. After the fun has simmered to just a burning ember, a break is what is needed.
It is fun during a ladder reset. The starting out with a fresh slate makes it a rush to quest and gear up.

If you'd like some of us to come back.. Push to get a good chunk of these bots banned. You can have players or you can have bots.. You aren't going to get both.. and I am currently done until something is done to moderate this nonsense to make it fair for the average person still putting the time and effort in to the game. Not some digital grifter who is so addicted to a 25 year old game they can't get a real job to pay the bills and needs to ruin games for others.

There were bots on d2r week one of the game launch. The game has d2lod, d2r, d3, d4, POE and diablo immortal. Blizzard fractured the game base to oblivion, not bots. During the pandemic there were 2k people on ESCL at reset. Then came d2r and POE and the player base never recovered.

Yeah pandemic was last time I was active til I jumped back on this ladder reset and I'll agree there was a lot bigger "actual player" base even on the hardcore side of things.

by PoE do you mean Path of Exile? I did not know that was a diablo or blizzard spin off but will admit it did looked decent but I heard "Hades" was better? I guess there is probably a lot of them now.
