Right Wing has got nothing to do with religion. Religion on the other hand can be used to create a cohesive right wing group.

What I mean is that most people in this forum which are Republicans (which I assume is kind of rightwing conservative you could say?) are religious. I am not American, so I could be absolutely wrong here, but thats my impression at least.

I feel like I am a bit of an exotic being in that sense as I am a non-believer and also kind of conservative / rightwing. I could be wrong tho.

Also most people have no idea about right or left , that's why they lump everything up in a simplified manner so you have two teams.

I mean sure, most people arent exclusively right or left but I feel like Republicans are very rightwing in their sense of patriotism and conservative thinking. I havent met a non-religious, atheistic, agnostic, whatever Trump supporter yet. Is there one in here?
