Rarely any games in NM or Hell. I'm talking you and all of those at top of the leaderboards. Haven't seen any of you in a public game, but yet you high levels.

we all will benefit with exp and mf if there were more public games.

Are other regions like this? I would like to play wherever the bulk of the community are.

I'll be honest with you.. I quit 3 days ago..

I used to play hardcore but gave up for two reasons.. one being as you said the lack of community and the second being dying from random disconnect/blackwalls/lag spikes it just was not worth it.

I haven't played in a few years but seen a ladder reset was happening so decided to jump back on. I tried softcore on apparently the most populated realm. It is all bots. There looks to be a lot of players.. but they are a bunch of individual players with 6 cd-keys and 6 chars, running a team of bots on non-stop chaos-baal runs, pit runs, chest runs, chant games, etc... There is no dueling community as everyone chickens. There are a FEW players but the bots far out number them and basically ruin the ladder itself. It helps the economy and keeps the game running with the services they offer.. but if you're here for the ladder.. its over. I bounced between #2-5th place til finally after sleeping for 4-5 hours 2 diff nights they pulled too far ahead and that was just it for me.. Yes a lot of the games are private and there are channels that people sit in to find out the game names that the bots keep hosting and you can follow them around leeching experience.. but you WILL NOT get a drop.. You are competing with 4-6 bots who have teleport, telekinesis, vigor that have drops set as there number 1 priority.. you will get scraps.

I'll always love the game.. but I've lost all the remaining desire to put anymore time into this nonsense without some kind of community and moderation.

I have heard non-ladder has a lot more players but I have not checked it out.. not my thing.

I'm probably one of the few people that don't use any hacks or bots. I play the game legitimately, but gets lonely when no one else is out there, publicly. Last ladder there was a lot more activity, I guess this ladder may be the last.

I know exactly what you mean. First day and a half of the ladder were amazing. The bots weren't able to function and there were actual games full of people questing and helping each other along. It was fun and brought back a lot of memories. After the first 36 hours everyone was done nightmare and that was the end of the activity. I guess no one wanted to do hell as they didn't have gear and it was non-stop bots rushing new groups of chars from norm-nm baal, grinding them out to 75-80 then you'd never see them again except on the ladder. After a couple days of that they were strong enough to get the hell games up constantly and I just lost instant interest due to how lonely it was and unrealistic competition.

You don't seem to realize. You ARE the community. BE it. Don't wish for it. CREATE it. Make threads, tell us about your advancement.

Regarding the disconnect issues, why you having those... make a better connection... and put in safety routines, don't rush, wait until connection is reliable before engagin bosses... and i say, if you got connection issues, i say you can be a bit cheatish. I.e. use easy builds on bosses, don't do it the hard way, it's okay to play easy on hardcore if you got connection issues. Being able to play and have fun is the most important thing.

I guessing the connection issues are due to Microsoft's obnoxiously large bloated updates filled with malware/spyware with a million random background apps constantly running with no way to delete, turn off, or get rid.

I mean I used to play the game just fine years ago on Windows XP without these issues.. now speeds are apparently 5 trillion times faster on some random WiFi 5 or 6 nonsense for marketing sales to get the new gen to upgrade. Tired of this tech ponzi schemes. These guys should have retired decades ago but still grifting hard just like all these bots.

That's sad. I don't quite know all the techno talk. But yes. I do agree a good connection is quite vital and important. Maybe just try different providers until you get one that is reliable and good. I mean, i lived in a town in southeast of norway, and checked all providers.......... i ended up renting connection from someone far to the north xD because it was cheap ^^ Weird as hell, but it worked. They sent equipment, it worked, 2 years later, i lost my job for the assinine masoning company full of idiots, i had to move again, they sent a bill for what, like 200$ for the equipment ...... i was like hell no ... i send you the eq.. i did, they never contacted me again. So i counted on they got what they wanted.

Yeah. Try different providers. Ask them on e-mail, can you provide a reliable line?

I don't know how it works (me) ... so i like to ask and send e-mails... and anyone that treats me like an idiot, well, they lose my respect. Customer orientation and service is paramount in any business. It doesn't take long to write a few words. For a potential customer, for 50$ a month, surely they will respond. Cash-grabbin vultures. Man, so many people got so rich on the internet stuff... it's literally nothing, just energy... you build a house, lay bricks, now that's hard work. And you get paid Fk all. Though ... if i had played my cards right, i could also make a bit.. but you got one parent being a complete pos and another wallowing with complaints all the time, and the company you work for are a bunch of idiots... and the boss listens to everyone else instead of you... it's impossible. I'm just so fkin glad i'm never going back to it. The amount of good days and experiences i have from it i can count on one or maybe two hands. As opposed to the 1000 others.

So work to get a good connection. I'm doing eldricht+shenkruns on my level 26 barb now, getting to about 32-34, will equal about 100-150 runs... hoping to get some good drops. Hardcore, yes. Doing conc now, with shield, will be doing berserk............. just for fun ^^ Was going to do travi runs, i may alternate. I got the thread going in pvm section. I suggest you do the same.

This is Canada.. we all have top tier internet connections right in our pockets for dirt cheap.. However none of us will ever own a home hardwork or not. Customer service is non-existant. We press 2 for French to get someone that speaks English as a second language cause 1 will get us some Brampladeshian who will just keep us on the phone repeating our personal information for hours on end or transferring us around to their buddies to do the same.

You would hate it here like every other straight white Canadian male citizen hates it here since you don't like anyone who treats you like an idiot. Come join the crowd if you like energy.
