Where did i say he doesn't make them a better team???? I said they're a 50 win team without him (they won 61 with him last season). He's not worth more than 10 wins.

Everyone knows the Celtics have been really good not just because of Tatum though. Acting like they're gonna suddenly fall off because Tatum has been carrying or something would be crazy. As I said before they went 8-2 without him and are 20-6 without him the last 3 years. They have other all-stars, including the finals MVP, who can carry the load. Assuming everyone else is healthy 50 wins is realistic.

The ball moves better in his absence thats for sure.

Buddy doesn't understand again, per usual. The team is BUILT around Tatum. He gets others open just from his presence; he's consistently getting double teamed and softening the defense for his teammates (Jaylen Brown easy takes in the paint or a 3 ball on the wing) This is the first year in almost 6-7 years that Tatum isnt expecte4d to be the #1 option on offense. Taking him out a game or two during the season is fine, they don't really have to do much, with him being out a good chunk to start the season, they have to completely re-draw schematics.

The team relies on Tatum less than any other superstar is relied on. Stop it.


Tatum cant carry a bad team. He'd just be Rudy Gay or Danny Granger if he was on a bad team lmao.

Hope he improves his playstyle n copies KD post injury n continues to be Competitive with the Celtics!

allegedly hes recovering quick, there's speculation that he won't miss the entire season. I agree with you though, let him sit out and keep rehabbing so he's ready to go the season after. I'm honestly still excited to watch them play without JT, something different for a little stint.

Others Celtics fans here hoping they don't do well without him. It'll just expose why he gets so much hate. Overrated, etc. They are a very good team without him and it hurts JT stans to accept.
