I am not american. The solution to violence is not more violence, even if it feels good. The solution to your innocent civilians dying is not killing thousands of innocent children.
That is the cycle of the Middle East. Violence produces the next generation of violence.
The issue for the West in actually creating peace and truly self governing countries that don't see routine military coup or coup attempts is they're significantly harder to exploit / can't be exploited to the same degree of profiteering.
It's the same for Africa. I'm fairly in tune with mining. A simple system of bribery and exploitation. You never have to worry that much about rebels there because their entier weeks work on a plantation can't barely cover a few rounds so best believe they can't aim worth shit due to not being able to practice compared to the Gurkhas used as private security.
We live good lives off the back of exploiting others and that means we need to keep things unstable but can't let them get too out of control, such as nuclear programs.
We just typically involve ourselves via proxy. Overthrow governments, sign agreements highly in favour of the west and move on to the next creating total havoc and systems that will long exploit the local worker.
