There's also going to be a massive wealth transfer from the silent generation and baby boomers, it's already taking place and while you might think that demographic prior to inheritance would recall the financial struggles and keep them conservative as they are now (35 and younger demographic), people are goldfish and I'm certain that they will also shift liberal.

While that demographic of 18-35 was conservative this round and older generations more liberal that wealth transfer will drive that younger generation post transfer I suspect or that's my hypothesis.

So ultimately I don't think we're suddenly heading to more conservative nation as the boomers die due to wealth transfer.

But we shall see how federal debt levels impact those people.

I appreciate that, culturally we are super chill and don't really fight amongst ourselves with left vs right like America does, historically conservatives and liberals are closer to the centre, I guess there's a good degree of self-segregation where the lefties migrate to the cities while the rest flesh out the country

All the violent protests are pretty much all Indians (khalistani separatists), then the Muslim violent protests are largely localized to Eastern Canada like Montreal

Also here if there's basically any threat of violence anywhere, an ERT (SWAT) team will descend with technology and powerful weapons, perched snipers. There was a team outside our house a while ago for literally nothing

It has its purpose and that region is far from being out of a volitile state so keeping the dog on gaurd makes sense.

You may be able to argue they have overstepped and clearly they have, they have precision and shown it time and time again but don't view Palestinians as humans so they could care less about using that precision and happily kill kids and innocent people. This will undoubtedly keep things volitile as more extremists are born.

That's why I doubt this is some end all conflict and a new confiict will arise in 20 years or less and will have the same talking points.
