Is it allowed to use eth insight in duel battles? I thought it has to be either non eth or selfrep in order to be compliant.

Even noneth is very good.

Well usually it’s considered “bm” to use an eth without self repair in “gm” duels, and I myself consider it bad form to do so.

That doesn’t take away from the fact, insight partizan is the weapon.

Back in the day, my prefered was rune staff, but i used on hdin lld, so my stats were minimized strength wise.
