I’ll have to simplify to the point of absurdity. All of this reminds me of the early days of Russia’s war against Ukraine. The one-sided narrative that Russia only had missiles left for 2-3 days. Three years have passed- and where are we now? If this doesn’t end as quickly as India-Pakistan, there’s a non-zero chance that 90-million-strong Iran launches a ground operation against Israel, which is more than 10 times smaller. It would take hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of U.S. soldiers on the ground to prevent Iran from simply wiping Israel off the map. The internal revolution failed, mutual missile strikes are just laughable. Everything is heading toward the World War Poo, Vol. 2 scenario.
A country without a nuclear arsenal cannot invade one with it on the ground. That's like asking to be annihilated. The only reasons Russia is not using nukes on Ukraine is:
1. The radioactive fallout would mainly hit Russia where it hurts ( Moskow and St. Petersburg), not Europe.
2. Ukrainians and Russians are of the same kin. There are also relatives on both sides. You can't do that and get away with it.
Compare it to Israel/Russia, both really far away, the fallout wouldn't bother Israel in the least. Iran doesn't have the air force to bombard Israel, troops on the ground are out of question because of the logistics and equipment.
The war looks really bad on the outside but I'd say they're negotiating with weapons. It'll be over soon.
