Israel is a democracy with peaceful transfer of power, civil rights for its citizens, heck, they even have Arabs sitting on their Supreme Court. Iran is a faux democracy in which all actual power is vested in the non-elected Ayatollah and clergical courts.


You can't really compare a precision strike on a high-value target, which was meticulously prepared by Mossad agents on the ground for months, with everyday strikes during attritional warfare. Also, the targets in Iran will not be deliberately built underneath schools or hospitals...


israel is an ethnocracy.
So Mossad can meticulously plan strikes on the ground for MONTHS in Iran, a country israel does not border, and is its sworn enemy but it cannot plan the same against a "rebel group" in a city they control and border, where they can shut of power, water and imports. Don't buy it for even a second.

on the other side..Israeli reservist refuse to serve 20%-40% like 100,000 decided their morals or more important then Israel ... Israelis have lost a complete sense of reality...It will never go back to what it was before the latest genocide. They have written their own ending ..

There is no Genocide, reservist doesnt refuse to serve they want the Haredim to share the burden and they are right

Does Israel keep an official tally on the death count broken out by fighter/civilian?

Was finding hearsay IDF has 20,000 tally of military targets/combatants downed. No tally on civilians. Other sources which Israel claims bias have a consensus around 50,000 which seems conservative.

If we use the thresholds from the internationally recognized Bosnia genocide, Israel has past this benchmark.

If not a genocide, what definition is this?

Also, if not contained, do you think Gaza Palestinians would have left/been expelled?

Regardless of definition, civilian body count is absurd. Very sloppy work compared to recent Iran engagements

This is normal for a Israeli ... Either they admit it a genocide and ok with it... or claims there is none.. Maybe they don't even know how to define a genocide? or just no sense of reality? kind of proves what i said about that .. :thumbsup:

In any conflict its a difficult if not impossible distinction
Just in Gaza, western media and their Hamas sources will report every child killed as a civilian, while Hamas arms child soldiers as the backbone of their armed forces. There's no way for a sincere and impartial source to reasonably quantify that distinction, and thats before its buried under the cloud of disinformation as bad actors try to spin PR for Hamas

The best I've seen is statistics based analysis cross referencing numbers from various organizations operating in Gaza with validation using confidence checks. (Like r squared on a regression) Sure, still room for bias, but harder to BS it to math literate.

The part that troubles me in regards to Gaza Palestinians death is their inability to flee. The Bosnia conflict noted tens of thousands expelled in addition to peoples murdered.

Would some of these families and child warriors have left/expelled if that were the option? Or perhaps Hamas has more control over their borders than IDF?
