Now been debatin this a long time .. starting resete always hard when making the gear, str n dex situation.

But i figured it out. no point in going highter than 30 strenght. You get

25 str = Belt = 12 slots. Going for pleated belt, now you need 60!! Strentgh ...... not worth it to lose 100 hit points for 4 extra belt slots.

25 str = Boner helmet = 33-36 defenze, yes it comes a bit late, act 2, but nn high def before that

30 str = Breast pleate = 60-63 def, it's good enough, if you wanna get higher, now you need like 50-60 streangth, so you lose out 60 hit points for ama, pala n those classes. It's a big deal early on. Splin mail is about 100 def, that's 51 str .......... those 20 dang strenth points, they are a hssle to get.

25 str = Bone shield = 10-30 def, it varys a lot with the bone items, but still, just reroll the trade screens, thye give good defence for the low str req. Their light, yet you only get 2 sockets, but you don't need the last one until later on, n then you strength probbly increase by charms in ncharacter natural development. I think you get a str n dex point in time, no?


In essence, you'r trading a loss of strength n thus a bit highter defense, like you lose maybe 10-15% chance to get hit, but youo get 100+ hit points more. N those 100 hit points is worth it. Now you can tank a hit from mephisto. N those other itums, yes you lose a socket on the helmt n the siheld, ONLY! thing you an do is go for 34 strenth for the LARGE SHIELD ... which has 3 sockets..... but it's the psychology.... you "may as well" strenthc for 34, you "may as well" strentch for this n for that ... but, though, like, if youo find those +1 strenth small charms ........ you can invest those xtra str points in str to get 34 n then the Large shield, n the extra socket .............. now you get the lucky extra flawed diamond = +12% all res....... it helps. For only losing like 10 hit points. I think it's worth it.

So, in essence of the essence, 34 total strength the first 20 levels. Will see you through.

Me, chosing the ama, i will go for that. N then, the PILUM javelin is the best, at 45 dex, so i must reach for that a bit, but will invest to get those extra 3.5 damage for jab ................ the glaive is good, extra 50% dmg, BUT slower!! n then you're looking at ridiculoust high str ....... not worth it to lose 50 hit points for extra 15 jaba daba doo dommage...... I would rather reach for the 65 dex to get the throwin spear at 25-30 level, now w're goetting good dommage............

The ONLY LIKE thing to do different, is if you finda GOOD unique that could change the course o fht egame, early, then you can lose 50-100 hit points n invest. But that item gotta be good. Okay, say i find SPARKING MAIL ........ 48 str req.. now you lose 50 hit points, but geat 150defence, 1-20 lightning damage for JAB which is good, multi fast hits... so thatis worth it. See, you think on your feet a little bit, but not getting foolhardy.... though there's a bit of a line betwean being foolish n hardy xD You gotta find the line for yourself ^^ Cool!

I think you don’t need any point in strenght. Torch Anni gives good strength boost

The simplest answer is:

+ Str or Dex Charms

The best +Str or Dex Charms are Large Charms.

Now it is simple, you need to find these charms with the LOWEST character level.

The best charms for lowest level are +3 Stat Large charms before reaching level 18 (if I remember correctly ... can use like at level 12 maybe earlier).

Now, with certain Affix / Suffix, these charms CAN have a higher level requirement.

The next charm you need are +5 Stat... think level req is 18.

So... basically you get the best Affix / Suffix with the lowest Level Req Large charm and collect them up for other builds to make it easier to equip higher stat items like armor etc.

Example would be a Sorc that has low strength and can not wield Hsarus Shield, however some +3 Str LCs can make it happen and it can be glitched @ level 6 (being shield level req etc.
