ANY parent who wants their child to be famous shouldnt have a child. its a gross fame by proxy living vicariously through them. doesnt matter if its political parents, sports parents, or dance moms. they're all disgusting.

yesterday in the store by 4 y.o. daughter saw 2 black guys that looked vaguely similar and asked me excitedly "daddy do you think they're twins". had the instinctual urge to explain a lot of things to her but just laughed and said maybe they are. people who want to rush to crush the purity of children are gross, its the only era of human existence that is actual enjoyable to a real extent.

Agree i don't want my kids to strive for any type of career that involves fame. How many young women today grew up during a generation that idolizes followers and social media? How many of such young women turned to monetize that clout and turn to trash like onlyfans? It's an absolute travesty.

hell even most of the "successful" ones aren't profiting much if any. they spend a shit load on outfits or vacations to look the part. a girl in my high school tried to be Instagram famous years before OF was even a thing and bankrupt herself trying to appear successful on her page. now she's 30 something with destroyed credit working an office job with like 75k followers on a page she doesnt even use.
